Born and raised in North East England, a region renowned for its kindness, hospitality, and witty sense of humor, Kate T., a flame-haired woman of vibrant spirit, embarked on a new adventure across the Atlantic at the tender age of nineteen. Over the past several decades, she graciously welcomed a steady stream of international guests into her home, offering legendary generosity and unparalleled hospitality, inspiring many global citizens.

In honor of the truly remarkable Kate T., The Kate T. Fund will allocate a scholarship for educators in 2025. It will support public school K-12 Social Studies and History teachers in Washington State to engage in global professional exchanges, commemorating the 80th anniversary of the end of WWII.
