Global Professional Exchanges

KNOWLEGE AND SKILLS SHARED AT THE GLOBAL LEVEL

We connect global professionals through hands-on learning programs that drive real-world impact, sharing best practices across sectors such as public education, waste management, locomotive engineering, agritourism, elder care, and supply chain management. Our programs are tailored for mid-career practitioners focused on implementation and measurable outcomes.

SHARING BEST PRACTICES

In 2025, WA State K–12 teachers embarked on an inspiring 11-day learning journey across Japan.
From vibrant Tokyo schools to classrooms in Hyogo, a sister state of WA for over 62 years, they explored Japan’s education system, exchanged ideas with local educators, and reflected on 80 years of post–World War II friendship. They also visited Hiroshima and Osaka for further historical exploration.
The experience deepened connections between Japan and Washington and inspired new ways to bring global perspectives into local classrooms.

"My experience with the Manabi Alliance created lasting memories and relationships that I will treasure for years to come. It left me feeling a kinship with the Japanese people that I never would have gotten from just any vacation to Japan, and a tremendous sense of purpose in my mission as an educator." - Audrey Perry

"The Manabi Alliance Global Professional Exchange was a once in a lifetime opportunity that I will hold dear to me. The trip was incredibly provided a wholistic and in-depth experience while all jam packed into 11 days. Every moment was carefully planned with providing not only a new experience, but a meaningful, educational, and historical one. Educators were offered global learning exchanges, especially for K-12 teachers. Manabi Alliance provides a model for impactful professional exchanges, even in its early years of operation.
